Did my second flower arranging class on Thursday, and this is the result of my effort. A really enjoyable morning spent with friends and flowers. Posting early as I'm off to Oyonnax for the weekend to see a rugby match: Oyonnax vs Ulster. Have a great weekend folks!
@lyndemc thank you so much for asking! We did pass through the centre of Paris this afternoon and there was a security alert at the train station (I now wonder if there was z link). We are now south of Paris and safe. Terrible news though.

Such a nice arrangement you've put together. The muted greens of the lower leaves go perfectly for this time of year. I like the metal bucket. (or at least it looks metal)
Am just learning of the attacks in Paris and thinking of you. Had not had the news on all day. Just wanted to say my thoughts are with you and hoping you and family and okay.
Checking on you and am so glad to hear you and your family are safe. We had three friends that were less than a mile from the stadium. Thoughts and prayers to all.

We were as shocked as you to hear the news, especially as we had walked through the affected area that afternoon - the Gare de Lyon was closed for an hour or so because of a security alert. We had to walk for 45 minutes through Paris to the station as no metros were stopping there. By the time we got there the rail traffic was just getting back to normal. We had no inkling as to what would happen several hours later. :-(
