The kids are home for Christmas and this 'kid' really makes me laugh. He is 20 years old and is still a child at heart. Here he is, preparing for his snowboarding holiday - indoors, wearing his ski kit and my sunhat! In the background you see his hammock (which of course goes perfectly with snowboarding) and in the reflection of his goggles you see our daughter in her hammock! We're lucky to have a great space in the attic of our house where they hang out together when they're home! This was a moment of light relief, as in all honesty they are both working hard as they have University exams in January.
How lovely for you that they are both home for Christmas! Seeing this great capture I think you are in for a fun time! These are times to treasure! Wonderful capture!
Such a fun photo and a warm story behind it . . . I'm sure you enjoy every second they're home with you. The reflection in the goggles is super cool! :-)
Some never grow up, my daughter is 40 and still a teenager at heart, she says she never wants to grow up!!.
Love the reflections in his googles, have a lovely holiday break
@jammyb It's true that I see my dad and brothers in Zaz, so I guess he must look like me! I don't see myself though, not at all! Mhairi, conversely, is so like her dad!
My daughters have two "ENOs" which look similar to the hammocks you have in your attic! They put them up in the trees in our front yard and hand out there. They've attempted sleeping out there, but it always turns too cold. I love his outfit--and his fun spirit.
A kid that makes you laugh endears himself in an extra special way. (My drum-receiving son mentioned to you in a response on one of my pictures makes me laugh all the time. Always has, hopefully always will.) Super pic of this fun-lovin' "kid".
