I have just returned from a visit to Scotland. I spent two nights in Aberdeen before heading west to visit our home in Ballater and onwards to Braemar to visit my dad. Our hotel in Aberdeen was close to the beach, so I made an immediate beeline for the sea front as I haven't been there in years. It brought back lots of memories of walking there with the kids when they were little. It was pretty wild on our arrival though!
