Fallen Blossom

I found the first of the fallen camellia blossom on the ground last night as I came home. It's so pretty, even at the end of its life, so I took it inside for a wee photoshoot!

So beautiful even after it has fallen!! When I lived in Surrey I have five camellia bushes in my garden all different colours. They would make a fabulous display at this time of year!! Sadly they don't grow where I live now in the East Midlands - wrong kind of soil!! I do miss my lovely spring garden!!
