Walking past the front of the Louvre yesterday, this bright chap caught my eye. He was not alone however; there are dozens of them there - all selling the same stuff!

@gaylewood I have to say I prefer to see these guys out selling things than the groups of Romany girls out trying to con tourists into signing petitions. It's all one big distraction scam! They irritate the living daylights out of me. They always go for the English speakers and obvious 'tourists'. I always look like a tourist with my camera so am often approached by their 'do you speak English?' tactic to which I love to answer, looking them straight in the eye 'No I don't!'.

Great colourful shot. These guys always amuse me and they are usually happy for you to just smile at them. I agree with you about the petition scammers though - they can be quite pushy and not fun at all to say the least.

I seen these guys at just about every attraction....they rather annoying after a while, trying to push their wares (aka junky souvenirs ). Don't think I saw anyone buy from them at all, but I guess some must & that's why they keep coming back! Cool shot
