A somewhat strange sculpture I discovered in the Parc de l'Ile St-Germain at Issy-Les Moulineaux, when I went to meet an old friend for lunch yesterday. It's designed by Jean Dubuffet and stands 24m high. Apparently the inside is accessible - I didn't try it - it wasn't too appealing!
Aww, the human brains and all its diversity; it has created something quite unique here. I can't help but wonder who says "Yes, put your (odd) art right here."
Really weird! And interesting! Is that the back of it, I wonder? It's probably my imagination, but I can almost make out the head of a dragon looking the other direction.
@desertaura I'm thinking this is the front of the sculpture, as it was facing the park, and the entrance gate to the park. Behind it was a fence and a view out over some industrial land. A weird piece of art, to be sure!
