Open for business again, as of yesterday! We were up at La Défense yesterday and discovered that the work on the Grand Arche is finished. I'm going to try and go back with my daughter today. Our friends are too claustrophobic to want to take that glass elevator to the top, seemingly!
Great shot of an unusual architectural technic : do you now that there is the same in the ground than at the top : it makes a square and it's why it's solid.
@squamloon Yes! I think staff who work in the offices however use an interior lift on the right hand side of building. The glass lifts are for tourists only, I believe, and for access to the rooftop and restaurant/bar/exhibition centre.
