Red Deer

I spotted this guy and his friend last night when out walking the dog. I only had my iPhone with me, so rushed back to the house to get my camera. The light was fast going, as it was about 10pm, but I got one or two reasonable shots before they wandered off. This morning, at 6am, (yes, that dog is keeping me fit ...), I saw a lovely herd down drinking from the river, but didn't have time to go back for my camera as they disappeared as soon as they picked up our scent.
