A Wall of Hay by jamibann

A Wall of Hay

I went cycling today with this guy - Gilbert - a real gem. We did 160km through the countryside in the western suburbs of Paris. A great day! The walls of hay bales in the fields amused us.

Wow, great Photoshop textured background :) I have no idea why my initial reaction was amusement, nor do I care.

@randystreat The baler machine ejects bales into a cube or rectangle shaped container mounted on a trailer. Later, the trailer tips up, dumping it's load into position to create a wall section. Repeat as necessary.

What a great composition, I'm still getting over the 160 km cycle ride though! Good for you!

@gamelee Just over 7 hours cycling Lee. Average speed 22km/hour. We stopped for lunch after 105 km. Quite hilly at beginning and end, flat in the middle, but with a head wind. Nice cycling weather.
