What a stressful time I had getting this photo! I had decided in advance to head to Trocadero and capture a tourist in front on the Eiffel Tower. So, I headed down 45 minutes early, and hung around checking out the best spot - in the snow. Needless to say, at the appointed hour, all the 'interesting' people had disappeared. I ran from one spot to another, and fortunately came upon this lady being photographed by her partner - in the sleet! However, she fitted with my plans, although unfortunately no Eiffel Tower. But it was just behind her, honestly, but her partner, the photographer, was in my way! #wwm2018
Oh to be that young again and able to wear those high heels :) What a wonderful candid shot - lighting and background are super in that yucky weather. Fav
Well done Issi.
When I was last in Paris it happened to be Paris Fashion Week, so plenty of people in the Tuillerie Gardens ready to pose at the drop of a hat.
I saw this one over on the FB event before I could find it here on 365. Lovely candid photo for a tourist location. Thanks for participating in World Wide Minute 2018!
At least you remembered the "minute"! I had planned to pick a good spot depending on lighting and weather, and then Jim suggested we go pick out some track lighting we need. So, totally forgot about the wwm. I love what you've captured and her sheer joy (or something).
@pools82 Thanks. Yes Paris fashion week provides lots of photo fodder! But, just about any day works in the Trocadero area! I'm constantly amazed by the number of photo shoots going on. I'd always like to know the story. Genuine photos, advertising set ups ... a bit of everything, I guess.
@pamknowler Yes, and around Trocadero, there's always something! But strangely, when you've only got 60 seconds those 'things' have a habit of being elusive. Got lucky!
Such an awesome pose! Immediately brought a smile to my face! And then even more so when I read all you went through to get the shot. Isn't it amazing what we go through to get a single shot during a one-minute time period? But it's definitely fun and so interesting to view all the WWM photos. :-)
