1918-2018

To celebrate 100 years of poppies and the end of WW1, the Deeside Knitwits have decorated the bridge in Braemar. I noticed it when I was up yesterday visiting dad. This was just the Centre of the display. There were hundreds of hand knitted poppies. I-phone to the rescue again as I foolishly left without my camera.
That's lovely..

Clever nitwits in Braemar, they have placed them on that bridge over the rushing water...a very lovely place to show them off!

nicely captured. My father in law was in the service and he would hand out poppies around this time when he was alive.
