Happy Birthday to Mike!

We did a great circuit of Kon Tum this morning, and as it was our friend Mike's birthday, we stopped for a piece of cake and a glass of champagne en route, amongst the rubber trees, as one does! I'm so glad we did, as I had the fortune of seeing this girl pass with her cows and dog. So very Vietnamese. :-) Onwards tomorrow to Quang Ngai.

@Dawn There are two things on the trees. Cups for collecting the rubber sap, and pieces of plastic above the cups, apparently to stop ants or other insects from dripping into the cup of sap. They tell me that the sap is collected daily at 1am. In the dark! :-)
