I'm getting a real liking for the naked skeletons of trees this winter. You can really see the shape of them when they are bereft of leaves. I also love drystone dykes! Taken today when walking around the 7 bridges in Ballater. Hubby has gone over to Ireland to see his old dad. It takes much more willpower to get out and about when he's not around. However, slinging the camera around my neck motivated me plenty today!
There's definitely beauty to be found in a leafless tree. Without leaves more of this tree's story is revealed; it's lost a part of its former self but yet other branches continue to thrive. I'm lovin' the beautiful sheep in the field.
Yes the camera certainly is a great incentive to get out & about. Love that dry stone wall across the lower part of the photo, i too love a naked tree!
