Bûche de Pâques

My daughter and I always make a chocolate log at Christmas, but this is the first year I've made it for Easter. It's a friend's birthday this weekend, and so, as we're hosting our barbecue (and opening of 'The Shieling') tomorrow evening, I thought I'd do a wee birthday cake come Easter Log for fun.

Why not. Seems most people like chocolate. Perhaps a touch of grass or a few flowers would make it a tad more spring-like.
