Reflections at Rosemarkie by jamibann

Reflections at Rosemarkie

On Sunday evening we drove over to Nairn to have dinner with friends, staying overnight. On Monday morning we cycled around the Black Isle. This was taken at Rosemarkie Lighthouse. We were standing out on an old pier looking back when I spotted these folks and their reflections. I thought it was more of a fun shot than one of the lighthouse!
I really like the extra detail showing in the reflection - great composition!

Loved seeing this image. My mother was stationed on the Black Isle during WWll and was always reminiscing about Rosemarkie and the wonderful people she met there.

@judithdeacon How lovely Judith! It's a beautiful area, and this is the first time I've been there - despite living about a two hour drive away. We got it at its best - it was a fabulous day.

Lovely photo. Such a special part of the world. My first teaching post was in Cromarty and we love the Black Isle....and Nairn!
