Today we walked 24km from Glen Muick, over the Capel Mounth to Glen Clova, up to Bachnagairn and down through Coire Chash back to Loch Muick. Despite the bad forecast, we were lucky, and only got caught in two heavy showers. A most splendid day, followed by a meal at the Indian restaurant in Ballater. A well earned treat! Another walk scheduled tomorrow up by Balmoral. We are truly blessed to live in a country of such rich landscapes and also have the ability to get out there and enjoy it.

Such a wonderful landscape to be out for a hike in. I like how the hills and trees frame the valley that leads the eye off into endless walking places.
My feet, legs and back are tired and sore just thinking about covering so much distance. It is a beautiful area for hiking/walking. Glad you're having such a good time. A wonderful goal you have set for yourself.
