I've been putting my holiday photo book together since I got back - I'm not quite there yet, but, thanks to having edited the majority of photos, and dumped the dross whilst on holiday, the task is not as major as it might have been.
So, I've gone back to my holiday photos for today's post (and probably tomorrow too ...) to share the story of Thirsty Thursday.
The first one happened by accident, when we were in Hoboken, and whilst walking to the restaurant we got caught in a heavy downpour. We arrived cold and vey wet at the restaurant. Anyway, suffice to say that the evening improved from thereon and after a few margaritas everything was looking rosy again! Thirsty Thursday was born.
The second Thirsty Thursday happened the following week and was due to having to fill in a few hours at the ferry port in Woods Hole, whilst we waited to go over to Martha's Vineyard. We found a lovely wee bar, Landfall, and it happened to be Happy Hour. The rest is history. Then we met up with these lovely three lads on the ferry, and shared a beer or two with them. Dan, in the middle reckons he's a candidate for President in the future.
The third and final Thirsty Thursday was on a Tuesday in P'Town. But that's another story!
Sounds like it's easy to find a reason to have a good time .. looks like a happy bunch you met up with .. I think Dan would be a vast improvement on Donald..
