Tufty's back! by jamibann

Tufty's back!

I was struggling for a photo this morning, and was standing at one of our shrubs with my regular lens, thinking, 'oh well, a flower will be better than nothing' ... when I turned my head to see that our squirrel has returned to the garden. Of course I didn't have the right lens, so sneaked back into the house, and fortunately she was still doing her thing when I got back ... taking a nut out of the feeder and digging up our grass to bury it. And repeat. She's a lovely little red squirrel, and I hope she continues to come and visit.
Mind yer nuts ;)

How precious! I know your excitement upon seeing a returning wild friend. It's always good to know they've survived and thrived.

I must've gotten lucky and caught the bunny nose in a moment of pause, because like you said, they hardly ever stop twitching that thing!

don't you love when your subject let's you run and change the lens. I don't think he's going anywhere if peanuts are in his future.
