The last of the plums

This tote bag came in very handy when gathering the last of the plums on Monday. At the top of my ladder, I could drape it over my shoulder and drop the plums in. That's it all over for this season. The spoils will undoubtedly last all year, until plum time comes around again.

It would have been my mum's birthday today. RIP mum. xx

They look like Victoria plums...lovely when the flesh leaves the stone! I think they are quite late so perhaps not Victoria...we picked ours quite a while ago. Sounds a bullet proof way of collecting them!

The plums look good. I bought a bag at the store last week and they were so tart. Luckily I found a recipe to use them in. I need to get baking!
