The Swilcan Bridge

Spans the Swilcan Burn between the first and eighteenth fairways of the Old Course at St. Andrews. Quite an iconic bridge in the golf world!

Yesterday morning, before setting out for home, we watched a few of the professionals going out on a practise round in advance of the upcoming Dunhill Links Championship taking place later this week on the Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.

Happy birthday to dad, 86 today. Off up to see him shortly and take him out for lunch. :-)

Good to see this famous iconic golf course! Beautifully portrayed as a mono shot, works really well. I love watching golf on the TV, I don’t play but it’s a great pleasure to watch specially the Ryder Cup & Augusta. Happy birthday to your dad. He will enjoy his lunch!
