Looking up the River Clunie in Braemar towards my dad's house on the right bank of the river. The snow is disappearing quickly, and the river levels are rising too!
Your dad must be able to hear the sound of rushing water, comforting fir him I imagine! Did you grow up here too....a beautiful place! I like the name River Clunie....
@happypat Yes, the water is too noisy sometimes when rocks come banging their way down the river. The bedrooms are at the back of the house too, so you hear everything during the night! I wasn't brought up in this house, as mum and dad only moved into it upon their retirement in 1986 - although that was a long time ago, and so it does feel like home. I was however partly brought up in Braemar, when dad was the local bobby - but then we lived in the Police House in the centre of the village.
