The view from the top of The Socach

This was taken from the top of The Socach, our destination on yesterday's walk. We deliberately opted for a 'low' level walk because of the weather forecast - maximum height 718m. This area is in the Ladder hills, close to the Lecht ski centre, where the hills are lower and more gently rounded than in the Cairngorms, but still close to home for us.
