An Teallach. What. A. Mountain. We climbed it on Tuesday with a guide. It would have been do-able without Gary, but we'd have missed scaling each and every one of the pinnacles on top, which would have been a shame. We were blessed with cloud inversion too. A magnificent day out and the first of our Munros for this particular trip.
Love that you're above the cloud. Really enjoy seeing your walks and climbs. My parents met at the climbing club in Sunderland. I'm proud to say my mum completed all the Munro's. Sadly I didn't get that gene. Something I regret now
Fabulous view…showed this photo to our son in law & he’s was very impressed….he knows the area top you are in…says it’s pretty wild! looking forward to more photos!
Stunning.....the whole area is awesome. Good to have a guide as they share so much that adds to the experience.
I worked in Ullapool one summer as a student....glorious weather for weeks...and we still love going back.
Enjoy!
@yorkshirekiwi What a lovely story. Your mum did well. We just just started bagging two years ago. We've done 55/282. We have a goal of getting them done before we're 70. We need to notch up 25 a year to achieve that, and get some of the difficult ones under our belt sooner rather than later, if you get my drift!!!
@sarah19 Yes, our guide, Gary, was very helpful as he took us over the pinnacles on An Teallach - we might have been reticent to do those without a guide.
Fantastic! I’m hoping I’ll get my back sorted so I can get up a mountain again - I’ll have to start with small ones because we’re not blessed with any to practice on round here!
