I just love this part of Bergen with all its cobblestone streets and wooden houses. It's so picturesque. I'm not sure I'd like to live here though; there must be many inconveniences. We had a lovely walk yesterday morning up to the top of Stoltzekleiven and Fløyen where you get great views over Bergen. In the afternoon I visited the KODE Art Galleries, seeing some of the work of Munch and other Norwegian artists. Today, we're taking the train over to Oslo for our long awaited meet up with our girl. :-)
Very pretty Issi, a typical imagined view of a Norwegian town in my eyes. I too love the weather boarded houses….I love them in NZ too although sadly in my eyes they seem to be using brick much more these days for new builds.
Enjoy your meet up!
