These keys and keyring have been in my mum and dad's house as long as I can remember, and now they're in my house. I have no clue as to what the keys could be used for, and I've tried everything, but I just can't throw them out. Not very logical, but a reminder of days gone by!
I smile as I look at my sister's keyring full of keys which she has no idea what they open. They were her husband Jim's keys and she will always carry them - even if they weigh her handbag down like carrying a brick!!
Lovely story and shot. I have a whole drawer full of keys as we have moved quite a few times. I keep them in case someday someone might be looking for it.
It’s strange how many keys that are hanging about with no keyholes to go into. We had loads at the farm I never ever found out where they went but no sentimental value at all as we had no family history in our last place. These keys will have been used by your dad & mum so very special…it’s the little things like that.
