William Wordsworth by jamibann

William Wordsworth

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

How I love that poem, and it so well describes the daffies at the back of our garden at the moment. Only the lake is missing!

Happy Easter everyone.
Such a lovely daffodil capture, just perfect for the poem.

The most beautiful description of the loveliness of daffodils blowing in the breeze. You have a nice selection of varieties!

A good friend who is gone now used to say this poem every spring. Thank you for the memory.

@sarah19 Yes, they are! Well remembered. :-) We added a few bulbs this year too, but they multiply quite well on their own. It's nice to have some colour in our garden at this time of year.
