The Aonach Eagach Ridge

What a fabulous day yesterday. That's the ridge ticked, well and truly. I loved every moment. The views were fabulous and the day was perfect.

A very strange thing happened. We met a man and his son from Bristol, who we'd met whilst doing Beinn Alligin on 31st May last year. We gave him a lift back to his car to save his family walking a couple of miles on the road. This year, he gave us a lift back to our car to save us walking a few miles on the road. Complete coincidence and on exactly the same day the following year - I know because Facebook reminded me! We went back to Jonathon's rented cottage, had a cuppa with his wife and daughter (who were walking last year, but not this year) and exchanged names and numbers. Serendipity or what?!
