Thank you so much for your comments about my photo of the pie eating contest. The boy in the middle is our grandson. There really is a Pie Town, NM, and this is its annual festival. Pie Town is very remote and has three restaurants, all specializing in pie. It has little else. It's surrounded by empty land and ranches. Our son-in-law participated in the Pie Town run, and it was 3.14 miles long. There was a pie queen. She was about 70 years old.
