Thank you all so much for commenting on my photo of our grandson with our dog. He loves dogs and has three of his own at his own home. I took this photo on the spot, yet still I have learned through the years on 365 to do things better and quickly such as: background matters, use a quick shutter speed with moving targets, get out in the light, have the child doing something of interest, and it's ok to crop part of a body out. None of these things would I have done four years ago. I would have been inside trying to formally pose a toddler in a shadow with a hallway of laundry in the background and not being able to see how it could be better.
It *is* very interesting how regular practice along with studying the work of others impacts our own work for the better. You've preserved a very special connection that comes through clearly in the image
