Well - not really dickie birds - we have a pine siskin and a chestnut backed chickadee - sharing the small feeder I keep near the front window for photo ops.
Great shot of both the birds--capturing two sharply is probably 5 times as difficult as one! You've made me wonder if perhaps a siskin visits my yard. There's a "sparrow-like-bird" that looks a bit like this.
I don't have outdoor cats but I've become concerned about my feeding of the birds--now that I'm photographing and snooping all the time, I'm seeing the neighbor's strays stalking the birds and rodents. I set up a new feeder nice and low for photography, but I think I need to at least raise it up.
