I didn't have my tripod, and needed it, but I did set the camera on a table to snap the view. After the rehearsal, we went to the dinner at a restaurant about 5 miles away from the ferry - for those familiar with the area, we were at Palisade on Magnolia. We were not supposed to have access to the deck with our private room but when we arrived, they had opened it up for us. It was a warm evening and the view was wonderful over downtown Seattle.
Taken on July 18th - a filler.
So sorry Jan, have been really rubbish at keeping up lately! This is a stunning view and really well captured. I seem to have missed your wedding pics but looking back, your daughter in law looked beautiful! Hope you all had a wonderful day, the mountain is looking stunning as ever too!!
@andrina - thanks Andrina - I have had so little time and haven't even been looking. I don't want to give up on the project so hopefully will be able to catch up in August. I will post some wedding pics in my where I live Album soon.
@gerry - thanks so much, Gerry! @grammyn - Thanks Katy - we could see Mt Rainier too, but I didn't capture it in this one. @elisasaeter@mamamia - Thank you! @cathrinemitch - Thanks Cathrine! @dakotaburns - Thanks Donald - it was such a pretty view - I wish I had taken more pics but the tiny deck was crowded. @carolb - Thanks Carol - yes - it is certainly different from how we choose to live our lifestyle. So pretty though! Before the sun set we watched boats sailing and others coming in to dock. @cazann - Thanks Caz! @eyesmile - Thanks Gena - it was awesome! @bristolrose - thanks Kathryn - the wedding was so beautiful - weather perfect - the new thing is for the mother of the groom to walk him down the aisle before the father of the bride walks her. I was so thrilled that I got to do this. My son and daughter-in-law are perfect for each other.
Lovely! Such a beautiful scene with the boats and lights. Great to see the skyline in the distance. Great job without a tripod, too! Welcome back, Jan! You've been missed around here!
