OK - so you will have to view large to see it in the upper left portion of the mountain.
Private aircraft are not allowed this close to the mountain so either someone was doing something very illegal or it was a forest service aircraft.
Gives an idea of the expanse of the mountain - something I have had a hard time showing over the summer. Very hazy - hard to get a crisp shot at this time of year. The flowers in the foreground are pasque flower seed heads.
OMGoodness ! photobombed by a plane but not really if you have to tell us where to look for it! ;~} Beautiful light and colors. Haze is something we deal with all the time in Alabama so I can sympathize but it hasn't hurt this shot at all.
Amazing! The plane gives the mountain such perspective. I would never have noticed it if you had not pointed it out. Fabulous shot of beautiful Rainier. I love how every photo you post from there is a bit different. All equally beautiful though!
Wow the plane really shows the perspective and just how huge that mountain is!! A great capture - I have so enjoyed your shots of Mount Rainier - your love of the area shines through your work!!
I was raised an hour and a half from the mountain, and your photos make me miss it. Our (ahem) little mountain near Portland just doesn't compare. This is a wonderful view.
