A Bridge to Somewhere

We share this bridge with two other families. It's 90ft long - the planks we have to have milled are roughly 8" x 4" x 13ft. Heavy things! The metal plate is covering a soft spot - we have to wait for the weather to improve before replacing a few planks. Under the bridge is a railroad car planted 15ft into the ground each side of the river. I drive over this when I have to go anywhere - it's the only way to get to the main road.

Just seen this on Flashback Friday, great photo. I'm fascinated by the green trees and red leaves.

@kazprincess - thanks Karen - the green on the sides are shrubs and native plants - the big leaf maples above shed leaves all year so there are pretty much always reddish brown or mottled yellow leaves on it.
