@taffy@pamknowler@tina_mac - thanks for the comments - Taffy 1 degree F is WAY too cold! We have lots of ice here in the winter but this is a fast flowing river - the local indian tribe keeps a close eye on it because it's the first up and first down in the area. The fast flowing rivers here don't usually ice over - we don't often get too much below the low 30's for extended periods of time. @redy4et - thank you! @anazad511 - Thanks Ana - definitely chilly! @cathieg - Cathie - yes - really unusual for our area. Thanks - fun to capture. @swilde - Thanks Sue. @eyesmile - Thanks Gena - we live on the Mashell - it empties into the Nisqually. We get run-off from Mt Rainier in spring. Those are rocks in the river, Gena - it's not very deep just there. @maggiemae - oh LOL - they DO look like poached eggs!
Very cool capture, love the design made by the ice and water. I almost took a shot of an iced over creek today but I couldn't really get it to look good - yours is cool.
