One-legged gull

I thought perhaps this youngster was resting on one leg but I watched him fly off and land in another spot on just the one. I have never seen a truly one legged gull before.

Like Sue said, a remarkable bird! I've seen one-legged gulls on Beaver Island, hopping across the road, and they look so vulnerable!
