Rhoda-Bug

Here's Rhoda.
She is looking a little sorry for herself. After her buddy Huckleberry went to the Rainbow Bridge in February she started licking her paws, and then any and everything (hearth, carpet, furniture etc). My vet said it was stress. She is doing great now. If you look at her nose you will see it's a little rough - all the licking made it dry and sore. Thankfully it's almost back to normal.

I am still trying to get into a groove - haven't been taking many pics, but leaving tomorrow for a five day quilting retreat and hoping that will be the ticket to get me back on track with my camera. The retreat center is on the water - and it's Spring - so hoping for some photo ops.
Thanks for hanging in there with me.
This is an amazing portrait

Wonderful portrait! My dog Finlay licks everything too but it's like a soothing thing and sends him off to sleep - almost like a comfort blanket. Very strange! So pleased Rhoda is feeling better!

I have heard stress does this! Good thing we don't do this under stress! Poor fellow!

Rhoda is gorgeous. So glad she has come through her stress over losing Huckleberry. Lovely shot of her. If any Canadians read this who remember John Diefenbaker, doen't this remind you a bit of him? :)

She is beautiful, of course she was heart broken, so good to hear she is much better.

Awww, sweet baby! My dog did the same thing. She was older and I was really worried about her. We ended up getting another dog and it did her a world of good (and surprisingly it helped all of us, which I hadn't expected).
