The building in the middle of the photo originally housed the Bank of Toronto. Constructed in 1896 it was the first non-wood building erected in Rossland. Over the years it housed the Rossland Miner Newspaper, Penny's Grocery Store, Steven's Restaurant and the C.S. Williams Clinic. It is currently the RossVegas Boardshop.
