Wow this is completely amazing. We had thunder and lightning today but how on earth do you react quickly enough to capture it, especially so clearly. Fav.
@paulaw tks Paula..the secret to capturing lightning is to put your camera in manual mode..select a small aperture, select bulb as the shutter speed and keep your shutter open in short 3 or 4 second bursts. Then when the lightning occurs your shutter will be open already to capture it.

Wow, I found this when I was looking at your bee - fantastic. I'v always wanted to take a forked lightening shot - did you use a very long exposure or a lightening trigger? A definite 'fave' for me
