I was at the post office this morning and saw this poster. The US Postal Service is issuing a stamp this month commemorating the repeal of the Stamp Act. For our non-US friends, during our colonial days, there was a revolt against taxations without representation - one of which was a special stamp (and associated tax) that was required for all official documents. England kept putting excess taxes on us and we had no real voice in the government.
