Yes this is exactly what it looks like -- an X-ray of my left pinky and those bones don't look exactly right. This morning I was refereeing a youth soccer game for 12 year olds and one of the girls took at hard shot on the ball headed into touch and I put out a hand to keep the ball from going into the adjacent field and BAM this was the result. Fortunately only a dislocation quickly rectified at the local ER but I have to have a splint for some time.
Proud to say there was 2:45 left on the clock and I continued the match until the end.

Fabulous to see that it is only a dislocation instead of a break although sometimes I think a dislocation is more painful! Glad to know it Will get better. You are definitely a trooper
