Luzia

We went to see Luzia -- the latest Cirque du Soleil show under the tent set up near Dodger Stadium. Titled "A Waking Dream of Mexico" it was, in usual Cirque style, beautiful, mysterious, funny, astounding, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Unfortunately I assumed that photography was not allowed and did not bring the big camera so the iPhone had to do. This is an illusion of our protagonist underwater with images projected on a sheet of water. A good time was had by all.

The colors in this were amazing . . but after all this is for B&W January

I still have not managed to catch a Cirque du Soleil show but I really want to some day. This is a good iPhone shot

@mbrutus Evidently they changed the "no photo" policy a few years ago and actually announce at the beginning that you can take pictures but no flash. I saw alot phone cameras but no SLRs. Not sure how that works but I think spending too much time on getting shots but detract from the enjoyment of the show. Anyway, the show was awesome and well worth it.

This is stunning in b&w! You really got the scale of performers and stage and the light coming through the performers costume and legs is really radiant.
