City of Angels

Spent a pre-Fathers Day day with my daughter exploring downtown and just having fun -- lunch at Grand Central Market, riding on Angels Flight funicular, a quick stop into the Bradbury Building (iconic downtown architectural site and a favorite for photographers), exploring The Last Bookstore, lemonade and macaroons at Botega Louie, a stroll through the Central Library (a cultural landmark) and then 70 stories up to the OUE Skyspace Observation Deck atop the US Bank building (including the glass slide on the outside of the building) where we encountered Collette Miller's artistic wings painted on glass and engaged in a little fantasy in the City of Angels

We then headed off to the baseball stadium where her Dodgers squeaked by my Giants. A fun day all around.
