Beautiful shot- I feel as if they are truly swooping overhead. Every time I see a pelican shot I think of that poem. It's interesting that you don't see them flying in formation usually. Some years ago I was in Virginia Beach, VA and there was a group of pelicans that flew up and down the coast all day, every day- always in formation! fav
