One of the disadvantages of living in the wild is the ever present danger of wild fires. This one broke out in the Palisades a few miles south of us and is burning about 300 acres so far. The winds are in our favor but friends further down in the canyon have had to evacuate. Forecast for rain tonight -- fingers crossed.
