Redbud 2

I learned the name of this tree from BeckyJo @beckyk365. I took so many shots (too many actually 😂) of this tree in the preserve last week.

They do bring a pretty pop of color to the woods in springtime, even before dogwoods. I'm am pleased to have one growing at my house.

I love how the buds and blooms form along the stronger branches... we have many, many redbuds here in Georgia and they are so pretty! Nice composition Jennie.

How lovely. We don't have these as far north as we live in Scotland, but I remember them so well from our Houston days. A lovely image of this pretty tree blossom.
