These three chimneys are breaking through to steel, glass and concrete of surrounding buildings. Remembrance of an industrial past, the power plant: Barcelona Traction, Light and Power Company, limited ( aka "la Canadenca" or "la Canadiense" ). These chimneys are an example of Catalan architectural style of the nineteenth century. On site there is a garden whose chimneys give name where interesting graffity paintings are present.

By looking at the clear blue sky behind, these chimneys must have been retired. They could be used for adventure activities such as “see who climb fast”. I would enjoy the view on top overseeing the garden on site.
