This season again, Japan Airlines came to Barcelona in a series of charter flights. This year we can see this beautiful Boeing 777 with its new livery ( note the red-crown crane on tail )
The JAL livery is called the tsurumaru (鶴丸) or "crane circle." It is an image of a Japanese red-crown crane with its wings extended in full flight ( source wikipedia ).
This way of framing the plane right in the center, is a requirement in most aviation websites content. In these sites aviation enthusiast or "spotter", upload their pictures up to a queue that is revised before publishing them by a team of judges called "screeners".
Among the different rules preventing a creative processing, the plane must be in center of the frame, with a few exceptions, and only a few processing touchs are allowed: color balance, focus, contrast, brightness and remove sensor dust spots.
The absence of "air" in the photo, or space before the plane takes away dynamism.
I've been interested in photography since time ago. I like street photography, airplane photography, candid and many other.
