I biked to Penn Camera in Tysons Corner this afternoon. As I waited at a light near the Babes bench, I took took out my camera planning to photograph this man from the side. Instead, he saluted and wanted a proper photo.
As I rode away, he sounded excited about the prospect of being in someone's photo album. At that point, I was pretty sure I would use his photo for my 365 project, but when I saw it on my computer I was disappointed at the exposure. I lightened it to show his face as best I could and cropped closer.
He was still on the same corner when I returned, but there was someone else walking among the stopped cars asking for money then, too. Must be a popular intersection.
