This afternoon I set my camera on a tripod and tried out my new remote. This is probably not the best shot, but I'm tired of looking at pictures of myself.
Awhile ago, I complained to my husband about the camera moving while taking macros with a tripod. He bought me an infra-red remote without realizing that my camera doesn't have an infra-red transmitter. A great idea, but I was disappointed when it didn't work. I gave it to my son and it works with his camera. I bought a wired remote the other night when I was at Penn Camera for a free mini-class. This was my first chance to try it out and it worked fine. Now I need a better tripod.
