Colombian Musicians at Smithsonian Folklife Festival
I called my father to wish him Happy Birthday, but didn't see him in person. We celebrated on Saturday (7/9) with a family picnic in Frederick with my brother's family. I didn't take any photos at the picnic or on Mon 7/12, so I'm using this one from last Thurs (7/7).
This was my first stop at the Folklife Fesival. I enjoyed dancing to their music.
@marytj I only danced once that day. I concentrated on photos instead. The next day my husband went with me and I expected to dance a lot, but he wasn't very interested. It was very hot and we were there in the middle of the day. It was still fun to hear the music and I really enjoyed seeing all the different people--the presenters and the spectators.
